VUSPA is a registered not-for-profit student organisation that aims to promote the welfare, educational, social and recreational interests of student paramedics at Victoria University. To achieve this, we organise a number of events including guest speakers, clinical skill nights, short courses, social events and self directed learning opportunities to name but a few. We also aim to represent students whenever it may be necessary and desirable and maintain an effective means of communication between students, the college, the university and other relevant bodies.
VUSPA is managed by an executive and general committee of members who are elected by association members to perform a variety of roles in order to achieve our goals. Committee members abide by a code of conduct in exercising their roles which values integrity, responsibility, accountability, competence, confidentiality, commitment to research and ethical review.
